Shelter Services
YWCA-AWS services include the only Emergency Battered Women’s Shelter in the Greater Memphis area whose primary goal is to offer emergency shelter to abused women and their children. Clients served are primarily from the Tri-State area - Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. However, shelter is offered to any victim in the United States who is seeking a safe place.
Crisis Hotline
The AWS Crisis Hotline is a 24-hour/365 day crisis hotline providing crisis counseling, domestic violence prevention information, and social services referrals.
